The Fourth Week in U.S.
The most frequent policy lesson drawn following the Columbine school shootings was the need for more gun controls. Review of the details of both Columbine and other contemporary school shootings indicates, however, that the specific gun control measures proposed in their aftermath were largely irrelevant and almost certainly could not have prevented the incidents or reduced their death tolls.

Yesterday evening at about 11:30 pm, I left from my office. A policeman was walking infront me when I went out the building. So I followed him and hesitated whether or not to talk with him. Thinking about keeping pace with him, to seize every opportunity to practise spoken English came into my mind...
Going after him, I saw, on the right side of the policeman's belt, there was a gun which was staggering. Suddently,he,turned his head a bit right side and at the same time, his right hand, was touching his gun!
Wooo...my eyes opened larger,my heart run fast,my step kept walking...how to response...I didn't know...at that urgent moment...
Then I, inherently, walked quickly near to his left side, smiling on my face and loudly saying "Good evening, Sir!"...I, after said three words, plus a comas and exclamation point, easied my tension a bit...
"Hi, how is you doing!" replied by the policeman.
"Fine, you are going to off work?" I asked.
"Yes,on the way home." he answerd.

Virtually, now I am still feeling nervous while I am writing that moment he touched his gun. A bullet, within one second, can totally smash us into pieces. how can we imagine that people, either walking or sitting down, could be shot at any time with the shots coming from so many black windows behind or in the front of us from so many building...
Probably, some people here will contend that it is your imagination which deeply influenced by the the movies and television cop shows. The reality here is different from our myth. Either in the school or on the street, people are not playing with their guns with irresponsibility.
However, that argument can't comfort us for a peaceful living simply because there has been studies showing that about 6 percent have taken a gun to school. (According to a national survey). After reading this latest article above in blue on mass shooting, our hearts may get more nervous...
